Hi!

I finally decided to stop using Eudora and moved to Mail (4.2).

I have also decided to start using iCal versus the paper calendar that hangs above my desk :)

Is there a way to link an email to iCal? For example, someone sends me an email inviting me to dinner next Saturday at 6 pm. I have used mail clients where you could transfer the email to a calendar just by clicking something. Of course there's always the copy and paste route, but just curious if there is a more elegant way.

Thanks!

have them send it to you as an invite. i send appointments from my work email (Outlook email) and when I get home I click on the iCal icon in the email and it opens iCal. On the left hand side you can accept or decline it...pretty easy.

You can also use the date/time detectors in Mail. Just click on a date or time and it will give you the option to create an event for that time.
