Transfer funds from Danish iTunes to US iTunes?

I remember seeing that you could transfer money from one account to a second one within iTunes. People use it as gift cards and such.. Does anyone know if this works between accounts in different countries? I live in Denmark but it want to put money on an American account. Usually I have to buy prepaid cards, but this would be much easier.

I'd try it out myself but I won't be near a computer with iTunes for a few days, and now I'm just curious

Does anyone know? I'm thinking of ordering a prepaid card from the American ebay, but if I could just log in on my own iTunes and send money to the us account it would be much easier. I'm spending my life in a la-z-boy popping morphine Because I just had a ligament surgery, so I could really use some entertainment on my iPad

Damn. It doesnt work. Finally found it on google, and apparently you can't share gift cards or allowances between different countries. So I'm stuck with buying prepaid cards over iTunes. Damn!
