Transfer iPhone 4 contacts to iPhone 3g

Here is a challenge for you guys.

I have an iPhone 3g and an iPhone 4g, all my contacts are on the 4g which I am going to be giving to someone else and going back to use the 3g
(Please don't say 3g is old etc. I know. Its literally used to make calls nothing else)

How can I get all my contacts back to the 3g?

Icloud is out, so use a third party like gmail, or even outlook on your PC.

Or you could just go to a AT&T store and ask them to transfer them for you as well, might be easier if your not familiar with iCloud or the gmail method
