Transfer iPhoto Events to 15" MBPr

I can't figure this out? I have iPhoto back up on time machine hd with my iMac.
How do i get them into iPhoto on my MBPr. Can i do it from my mac with out using time machine or????

Probably simple if you know how.

look for the iPhoto library, probably in your pictures folder. Copy it over to your new mac. You then open iPhoto on the new mac and either select the file you copied as your working library or select import library and the photos will be imported into your current library. The events come along with the photos.

Found the iPhoto library, only way i could get it off the HD was to copy the folder to desktop then open into iPhoto.
