Hi,

I'm transferring my iTunes media folder over to my new machine, but I'd also like my playlists and everything else etc... to be in tact.

Is there anyway I can get that to work? What files do I need to copy over?

Connect the other computer to yours using firewire target disk mode (assuming it's a mac), then transfer the entire iTunes folder to your new computer. Done

Edit: you might need to transfer some iTunes preferences over. just copy the files in /yourusername/Library/Preferences/ and use them instead of the ones on your new computer.

No worries

Firewire target disk mode is one of the main reasons to buy a Mac, I love that sh*t.
