Transfer local music from Iphone 8 to XS

An Apple rep told me that i can transfer my zillion songs from an iphone 8 to a new xs wirelessly, without having to plug into itunes. This would be great, because many of my songos on itunes need to be downconverted to 256kb.

Anyone know about this? Or does anyone have an alternative?

I think he was referring to AirDrop, not sure about other ways, but if you really have a zillion songs that can take a decade. Check iMazing if it will be long. Just connect 8 > select all music > drag&drop to a folder > connect XS > drag&drop folder with music.
