Transfer Media from iPad to New MacBook Pro

My hard drive died and I had to replace it. I now have a brand new 500GB hard drive running OSX 10.8 on my mid-2010 Macbook Pro. The only place I have any media (music, video, apps, etc.) is my 3rd generation iPad.

Is there any way I can transfer the music, videos, pictures, apps, etc., from my iPad to my Mac?

Not sure if you managed to get this sorted, but there are numerous apps out there which according to their website allow this. Have a quick Google search and see if it helps.
