So when I transfer .mp4 files onto my flash drive and play them on the TV they are not in order. They are in order on the flash drive, but for some reason they do not play in order on the TV.

They play in order and fine when I transfer them over using a windows pc, but on my mac they play out of order.

What could be causing this issue? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Most devices I've come across will, in the absence of any other information (playlists, iD3 tags etc.) play files in alphabetical order.

Try re-naming the files to start with 01, 02, 03... in the desired order.

They are already named like that, really weird to say the least.
