I have to Change my SIM as I am moving from Pakistan where I am on Visit to Canada my Permanent residence. I am afraid to loose all my Contacts. How do I I preserve it and then Copy to my Next Sim in Canada.

Also How can I see if the Contacts are only on Sim or Partly on the Memory Card and partly on Sim.

The original iPhone and the iPhone 3G do not store contact information on the SIM.

If you do have contact information already on a SIM, you can use a feature that was introduced with iPhone 3G and "import" contacts from your SIM. This feature was also available on the original iPhone with software update to 2.0 or higher.

The iPhone is designed to sync contracts with your Mac or PC via iTunes.
