Transfer of Files Showing Wrong Size

I'm transferring my iPhoto Library from one computer to another. In Finder, it shows the library file size of 52.35 GB. I am using SSH to transfer it to another computer on my local network with CyberDuck. While it's transferring it is showing transferring a total of 95.3 GB. Why the discrepancy?
