Why does Apple constantly change the way you iTunes handles PDF files ? Last version i could impport directly to iTunes "under iPad >>>> "Books" however this version, they've changed it back to using iBoks to show up.. without any explanation .... or warning in iTunes.

You would think there's be a message saying "You must use iBooks to transfer PDF files" but there is no such thing.. You don't find out till u just cannot do it. There is nothing in "Books"

Here's what i have:

I'd really like to know why Apple thinks a known PDF file is music.... once added, u can't even drag it over as u get a error "This cannot be played."

Anyone have an explanation why this miss-informed route ?

If Apple just sated in iTunes *before* wasting the time taken to import "PDF's cannot be imported. Use iBooks instead." i would understand that.
