I'm having a spot of trouble and in need of some help/advice.
I've recently had my Windows PC HDD go bad and unfortunately I'm unable to recover it, the drive had 100's of photos and around 25,000 songs backed up to it. Now I've for the most part lost all of the music but my iPad air has ALL of my photos sat nicely on it in different albums.... but here is where my problem begins, I can't seem to figure out how I get them back off the iPad and on to my Windows PC. When I connect the iPad and run the Phone Companion app it only finds the 300 or so photos that have been taken with the iPad but not the several thousand which are stored in the albums on it. I've tried to setup iCloud but to do so it needs to delete my photos.... which doesn't sound right...
No doubt one of you will know a simple solution to my problem and any help would be much appreciated as the iPad contains all of my family photos and the Mrs will kill me if we've lost them forever!!
