iPhone 'Transfer purchase' message

Hi Guys,

Is there any need for me to 'Transfer purchase' to the computer when I upgrade from iOS4 to iOS6, when I have already done a back up? Hope someone can advise. Thanks.

A backup only copies your settings and "documents", not your apps or music. You should transfer purchases to make sure that you have everything.
