Why does my iPhone/iTunes do this EVERY time I sync? I have lots of apps, like most, but EVERY time I sync it takes an extra couple of minutes to 'transfer' the same 10 or so apps that have been on my phone for years. I sync manually, not wirelessly, and only on occasion when I'm dumping some new music on to my phone. Anyway, it slows down my sync and really annoys me.
Why are they transferring if they haven't been removed, added, or even USED in a long time?

Thanks

p.s. the new iTunes update SUCKS. Just fyi

I'm also curious why it asks me EVERY TIME after I unplug if I'd like to 'apply changes' to my iPhone?

"You have changed the settings for the iPhone “Miles Longer's iPhone”. Would you like to apply these changes?"

Why? Didn't I just do that?

Thanks

p.p.s. The new iTunes sucks. Have you noticed?

Doesn't do it on my iOS devices on 6.1, or my ancient iPad on 5.2. I'm running iTune on an MBP 10.8.2

Are you running on the latest iOS? Jailbroken?

Yes, iPhone 5 on 6.1, MBP latest update and iTunes version. NOT jail broken.

Hmmm.
