Transfer ROMs to new iOS 4?

With the release of the new operating system today, I realized that by updating I would also lose all of my ROM save data that I have on my phone. Not gonna lie, there is quite a lot of progress on Pokemon :D, and I don't want to lose that when upgrading.

Does anyone know how to transfer this to the new operating system.
 
Not 100% on this but wouldn't there be a "saved files" be in the ROM directory. you could SSH the files from the idevice back to the PC/Mac!

Alternatively email the developer or simply don't upgrade until you finished playing Pokemon!! :rolleyes:
