My new Macbbok arrived and I would like to transfer my settings from my Imac. What is the best way of doing it over a wireless network? I saw that you can use the migrate user application, but this one works only with a firewire connection.

I really recommend using a Firewire connection because transferring through the Finder via the wireless network is gonna be mega-slow (relative to firewire). Seriously connect the two machines and let it transfer overnight.

I assume that you'll be moving 40gb (or more) and that will take a long time even for firewire.

If ultimately you want to use wireless then try using an FTP program that allows SFTP transferring. That is about as fast as using SSH in terminal (if that sounds complex just ask!).
