Transfer Slideshow from iMac to iPad 3

I want to create a slideshow in iPhoto, and then transfer it to iPad so that I can use that to present a slideshow using a projector at our club.

I cannot see any obvious way to do this. I have exported the slideshow to iTunes and I have connected the two via USB and opened iTunes on the Mac. I cannot then see any likely method for sending the slideshow to the iPad.

I do hope this is possible?

I have been able to successfully transfer Pages files from the iPad to the iMac vis iTunes, but iPhoto does not seem to feature.

Any suggestions very welcome. Thank you.
