Hello All,

I am writing this on behalf of my daughter. I am hoping I can help her in regard to an issue she is having with an iCloud restore she is having. Here are the specifics:

-- She had a 4S and has activated a 5. After activating, the iCloud resotre began.

-- She was noticing that under usage that "Messages" is showing about 6GB, and still climbing. It turns out that she had literally about a year of text messages and iMessages that had a lot of pics and videos in them. She went ahead and deleted every single text and iMessage thread to get rid of all these messages.

-- The "Messages" usage is still climbing through this restore, so she is a bit frustrated that so much space is being used in this area.

Here is what I am thinking... iCloud is trying to restore all the GB's of messages. We should probably allow it to continue and then when it is done, it should either correct itself because she deleted all text and iMessages on her phone, or if they re-appear then she should delete them again and then when iCloud does a back-up it will correct itself. Would this be correct thinking or should we do something else?

Thanks!
