Transfer Touch Apps to new iPhone???

I have an iPod Touch, that has a bunch of apps and stuff on it. I'm getting an iPhone 4 when they come out. I'm giving my Touch to my kids to play games on. My question is: can I transfer some of my stuff and apps to my iPhone and leave some on my Touch? If so how?
