transfer video clips from pc to mac?

Help. I just recently bought a mbp and want to transfer video clips from my pc to my mbp in order to put together a video using either imovie or final cut express. Is there a way to transfer the video clips?

i just use my external usb hard drive to copy video from one machine to another

Do you not have a network switch? Mac OS X can connect to Windows shared folders.

You got an iPod? That's what I always transfer large files between mine with. If you got one just plug it into your PC, go into My Computer and it'll be Removable Disk (usually "F:").
