Is there an easy way (or free program) to transfer contacts from a Samsung Blackjack phone to a 2G Iphone? Is there a program on a Macbook that will help to do this?

if phone has Bluetooth download gsm remote. Worked for me.

Will the first gen phone read from the SIM card now? I know the 3G phones do, but I'm not sure if that's a hardware or software thing that the first gens might have gotten with the 2.0 software.

That would be worth looking into. Then you can save your contacts to your SIM card (mind you this isn't the prettiest way to do it) and then read them into your iPhone.

yes the 1st gen iphone has the option to import SIM contacts under settings>mail, contact, calender... down in the contacts section.

I havn't ever used it, so I don't really know if there is a limit if you have a lot of contacts.

Otherwise, the transfering of contacts to outlook, then either syncing that with the iphone or using mobileme to sync would work too.

Any easy way to do it the other way round.
Just sold my 5 and gonna use a galaxy ace until the 6 is out.
Wondering about getting my contacts on it
