Transfering Data from iMac to new MBP

Hey guys I was wondering where I could located where these files would be. I am planing on copying everything manually and starting fresh.
I want to copy over:

Application licenses
Firefox data (saved passwords, bookmarks, etc)
Preferences for certain applications

and yeah thats about it. Thank you and let me know

That's going to be a very tedious task

Is there a reason you don't want to do a fresh install and use Migration Assistant? It will pull all your data and settings over without the trouble.

Preferences will be in both your system preferences folder and your user preferences folder

For Firefox data, you might want to use Spotlight to find any associated files

For App licenses... I think this will vary

Someone else might have better answers than that
But I would strongly consider Migration Assistant
