Transfering Files

I am going to get my MacBook tomarrow, and I want to move my files from my PC to my Mac, well the ones I need anyways.

I have a 30 GB iPod (Video), with a FireWire and USB, and I was curious on what I should do! Use the FireWire or USB? Could I do a network share with my Windows Computer?

I used an iPod with USB and it worked for me.
