I've been using Garage Band for several years now, I have a few different Mac's and I would like to transfer my custom effects (pedal effects) for my guitars to another computer. Like another portable Mac that is running Garage Band without having to configure them manually each time I open garage band on a different computer. This is great if you have a studio computer running Garage Band and would like to transfer the settings to a laptop, or other computer running Garage band, or vice versa.
• Garage Band stores your custom preferences that you've saved to a .cst file(s) using the following path:
Macintosh HD>Users>Username>Library>Applications>GarageBand>Track Settings> Real> Guitars (or the instruments you modified)
Simply find the .cst files you want here, copy and transfer them to the other Mac in the same destination path, using a flash drive or whatever you use.
Hope this is helpful for someone else.
