Hi,

I had an iMac that I sold a few weeks ago, before selling it, I backed everything up witbh time machine.

Now I just got my new MBP and I can't get back all my files. I can restore my apps, setting, etc, but no files associated with iLife. When I browse my backups in time machine, I cannot see any of the backups I did on the iMac on the list. I can only see my MPB ones. If browse my external drive though, everything is there.

Is it possible to retrieve my files?

It didn't transfer any of my iLife files when I used the migration assistant. However, when I did a fresh install of Leopard and transfered my files from time machine (during the install process) everything was transfered properly! I'll have to play around with migration assistant to figure out why it hapenned.
