Hi all, hope this is the right place to post if not feel free to move it to somewhere more suitable!

Anyway I've just recently got my 1st MacBook pro and I'm gradually transfering stuff across. I was using thunderbird for my mail on the laptop and I've got various messages in mailboxes that I want to save and move across to the MBP, is there a way of doing this? I know I could just email them to myself but this would mean the sender becomes me and I want to ideally keep the original sender as it's much easier to find the messages when I need them.

I don't know if this is really silly question or not  so apologies if it is but any help would be really appreciated.:)

PS I'm using the standard mail app on the mac if this makes any difference.

Thanks in advance. dizzydot

Hi guys,
I have the exact same problem, only that my pc does not exist anymore! I only have the thunderbird files saved to my external hard drive and need to transfer them to my mac mail.
thanks for your help in advance!
