How can I get my notes from my iphone 4S to my iphone 6+? I did do a backup of the 4S before I switched to my new phone. when I synced my new phone, I tried to bring it over but it didn't. I don't use icloud so thats out. Suggestions? I have to many to redo them. Thanks.

Why don't you have iCloud, if I may ask? That's usually how notes gets transferred and kept stored. iCloud is free and doesn't get accessed by anyone other than you if those are the concerns you have.
Only turn on Notes under iCloud on each phone, and then turn it off...simple as that and they don't get any more data than that
