Transfering Old PC iTunes to New MBP

So I just bought a MBP 13'' and was wondering how do I transfer all my iTunes from my old PC to the new MBP? All of these musics are in my iPhone also, does it make a difference?

On the PC, you should first consolidate the library so that your music files that are strewn all over the place are inside the iTunes directory. Then, take the iTunes directory that's inside your "My Music" folder and drop it into the "Music" folder on your Mac, replacing the existing iTunes folder (hope you have nothing on your Mac yet). That's it.
