Transfering purchased songs from old Mac to New Mac

Question. I am buying a new Mac, and want to transfer my ITMS songs and TV shows to my new Mac from my old Mac. How do I do this without having to buy the songs over again?

get a firewire cable restart your old mac in target disk mode and move all files to your new Mac. after that just autorize your new computer to play the files and everything should work.

Also, if you plan on getting rid of that machine or you don't intend to use it, deauthorize it. If you forget to de-authorize it, you're out of luck (although you can deauthorize all computers once per year).
