Hi there,

Does anyone know whether I can transfer scanned documents into Pages, so that I can then play around with the text myself in Pages?

Not sure whether this can actually be done? But it would save me typing a lot of uni work up!! lol

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated:D

In order to convert scanned pages from an image into text you need Optical Character recognition (OCR) software. The best of these, in my experience, is ReadIris Pro. It is expensive but you can trials of this and other OCR programs at VersionTracker.

Is there no way that I can transfer text into iWork from a scanned document without buying the software?

I have been told that you can do this on microsoft, so I presume Mac's would be able to too...?

I'm not entirely sure I understand your question, but to convert scanned documents into text, you need an OCR application not a word processor. It's got nothing to do with Pages. Most scanners come with some sort of OCR application.
