Resolved Transferring 17gb of data from cMbp to another laptop?

I have 17gb of pictures I need to transfer from my macbook pro to an acer netbook (no cd drive). I have no access to an sd card, usb stick, or CD. What would be my best shot on transferring my data? Also is it possible to send data from my acer to my macbook? I do have access to 20mb/second internet, and I tried drop box but there is a 2gb limit. Would an ethernet cable work?

EDIT: The acer is running linux ubuntu 10.04 if that makes a difference.
EDIT2:How do i close/delete a thread? just figured out I can drag pictures into my ipod.. Tyvm if a mod or someone can tell me how to delete this
