Ok, so I have had the 3G since launch and always sync it with my PC. However with the new iPhone, it requires 10.5.8 on my macbook pro I purchased a little while ago. Is there anyway that I'll be able to transfer everything (contacts, apps, ringtones, texts, etc.) from my 3G to my mac and then just sync that all to my 4 when it arrives? Whenever I try to sync it now I always get the warning how everything is going to be erased. And the 4 won't work on my PC right, it's Windows XP I believe lol

1) Move your iTunes music folder from your pc to your mac.
2) Plug in your 3G to sync.
3) Plug in your 4 and sync (or restore 3G backup).
