Hi, I'm trying out Aperture 2 for the first time, I always used Iphoto. I'm importing my Iphoto Library (which contains 47,000 photo's) to Aperture 2.

What is the best option to select? Should I choose "Store files in their current location" or "store files in the aperture library"?

Is there any disadvantage in selecting "Store files in their current location"? Is any image quality degraded if I select that option?

Won't selecting "store files in the aperture library create an additional 47,000 photo's? I'd prefer not to have 2 library's exactly the same. Any info is greatly appreciated

Yup.... if you select the "store files in the aperture library" then you will have another "47000" photos... I would, like me just copy across what you want into Aperture and then keep what you don't, in iPhoto..
