I'm traveling with my MacBook and an external hard drive. I had a massive systemwide problem on the MB and had to do a complete clean-install of OS X (luckily I had my OS install disks with me)

Unfortunately, I didn't bring my application disks. I do, however, have an external drive with a clone of my desktop system from home that has Lightroom installed on it.

My question is, how can I transfer Lightroom from the cloned system on the external hard drive to my freshly installed OS X on the MB? Is it possible to use Migration Assistant to do that? The thing is, I don't want to transfer ALL the applications - just Lightroom (and maybe Photoshop).

You should be able to just copy it and it's library files over... you may have to re-enter your serial... but other than that...

But I don't have my serial. It's on my install disks, which are at home! I opened the "About Lightroom" menu, and I don't see it there either.
