Hey

I'm trying to transfer audio from my mac to my TV. In order to do this I bought a "RCA adapter stero" (That is, a 3.5mm mini jack plug to a black- and a red plug).
I connect my mac to my TV by plugging the 3.5mm mini jack plug to my mac and plugging the red plugging the red plug of the cable to the red jack on my TV and the black plug of the cable to the white jack on the TV. But no sound comes through. Am I missing something?

Make sure the RCA jacks on the TV are for input. Most are for output only. I have mine outputted to my stereos input.

Well, there's a label above the jacks where it says "av in" which i assume means "audio/video in"?

Should be, but not sure about the OP's TV. You may need to switch modes on the TV for it to use those ports, usually some video button on the remote.
