i have had my new MBP for about 4 days now. and i have been slowly going thru my old iBook transferring my bookmarks to the MBP. is there a fast way to do this? also can i do the same thing for the autofill passwords? im using Safari 4 if that means anything.

thanks for that.

does anyone know how to transfer the passwords?

~/Library/Keychains/ folder. To get to this file in the Finder, choose Home from the Go menu. Open the Library folder, then open the Keychains folder.

Back up: Make copies of your keychain files in a different location by Option-dragging each file to a desired location. Do not remove the originals.

To restore:
In the Finder, from the Go menu, choose Utilities.
Open Keychain Access.
From the Edit menu, choose Keychain List. A dialog appears, listing all keychain files.
Deselect the keychains that you wish to restore, then click OK.
Quit Keychain Access.
Move your keychain back up files back to ~/Library/Keychains/.
Open Keychain Access again.
From the Edit menu, choose Keychain List.
Select the keychains that you wish to use, then click OK.
