This may be really quite simple...
Im working with a macbook pro and I already have a cable with a 3.5mm jack either end. My cassette player only has a "headphone" port. and with the new macbook this only has the "headphone port too.
My question is (which i can easily do with an old macbook 2010) is can I transfer cassette tapes using garageband/audacity with this cable and devices.
I couldn't get it to work because of the input restrictions on the macbook pro.
Has anyone got this to work and what input/output values did you use and settings on garageband/audacity.
Or is this a dead end scenario.
