Hey everyone,
As i've only ever had a hand me down from my brother, i'm about to go buy myself a new laptop. As i've already got years worth of music, apps, documents i'd obviously like to transfer it on to my new mac when i get it. I don't have time machine on my current iBook. Apart from Time Machine, how would i get all my current stuff across to my new MacBook Pro? and i also run a copy of Logic Studio Pro that needs a usb key to make it work will i be able to transfer that particular program as well?
Thanks for the help in advance, oh yea and i'd rather not give it to the people in the apple store to do, purely because i detest waiting and i'd rather have the machine in front of me, i'm sure you know how it is
