Hi

I'm replacing my old 120gig hard drive with a new 320gig hard drive

When Ive got the new hard drive installed can I just put the old hard drive in a enclosure kit/caddy and copy my music/movies/etc across to the new hard drive?

Or do I have to copy the data off before I remove the old hard drive?

Or buy a program such as super duper?

Thanks

David

Buy an enclosure and place the old HD inside while placing the new one in the computer. Boot up onto the external HD. Then use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone an exact clone to the new HD. Then reboot onto the internal HD and it'll be exactly as it was.
