Is it possible? I might get a new iPod touch(2nd gen) and I don't want to reinstall all the jailbroken stuff. I have openSSH on the 1st gen, so if I jailbreak the 2nd gen, put everything else like applications, music, then transfer the jailbroken apps and settings, will it be the same?

Or is there another, easier, way?

If I were you, I'd just take the time to reinstall brand new on the 2G.

However, since you'd like to transfer.
This is what I'd do.

From the Applications folder in SSH, copy all the jailbroken app folders onto your desktop.

Also, go one step out of Applications and there will be a themes folder. Take those and drag them to your desktop as well.

On your 2G, jailbreak it, install Winterboard and OpenSSH. SSH in all your applications and themes to its folders.

Hope that helps.

Oh okay, thanks very much but I don't think I'll be getting a new one anyway. Nevertheless, it's good to know for future reference. :)
