Transferring full quality photos from iPhone to iPad

Hi Everyone,

I just got a shiny new iPhone XS MAX but only the 64gb model, is there a way to use iCloud to automatically transfer full quality photos and videos to my iPad without me selecting each photo/video?

At the moment they are all in the cloud until I pull them down and view them which isn't great for areas with no wifi/poor reception.
