Transferring Ipad2 Contacts to Macbook w/o syncing itunes?

is there a way i can transfer/import all the contacts from my ipad2 to a new mac w/o syncing? Reason i ask is that i need the contacts but i don't wanna lose the data/music from my iPad that is currently synced to a windows computer. Thanks
