I have haven't tried it yet, but I want to transfer my iPhoto library from my PowerBook to my iMac. Is it simply the case of copying the iPhoto folder in my home directory to the iMac? Or is something else involved.

Is there even a way to have a sync copy taken from the iMac and placed on the PowerBook??

I know you can share pictures but I want my iMac to host them rather than the Powerbook.

It is as simple as moving the folder. I copy my picture folder from my PB to iMac to act as a backup.

I don't know an easy way to sync them, if you make changes to both.

Yep it works, I did it the other day. As for syncing I not sure either. Maybe there could be something in the sharing my library and creating a smart album?
