On The Nickel, over there....
The title pretty much says it all.
Our daughter only has 3GB of free space left on her Mac mini internal drive. She lives a ways away from us, so I'm trying to help her out long distance.
We think the culprits are iTunes and iPhoto, so she wants to transfer both of them to a dedicated external drive.
The problem is, neither of us knows how to do this.
Can anyone give us detailed instructions on how to accomplish this, or post a link to the detailed instructions?
All help/advice would be greatly appreciated. She really needs to free up some space on her internal drive.
Thanks!

Wow!
Exactly what we were looking for, satcomer.
Thank you very much!
A follow-up question on iPhoto. One of the instructions is:
"Drag the iPhoto Library file to a new location on your computer."
Would that mean to drag it to the external drive icon on the desktop, or drag it to the external drive under DEVICES in Finder? Does it make a difference?
