Transferring iTunes to new computer - missing items

I recently bought an iMac and I've been transferring my files from my old Mac Pro. To transfer my iTunes library, I did the following:

1. On old Mac Pro, copied entire iTunes folder onto an external HD. The iTunes folder was the only folder within 'Music.'

2. On new iMac, copied iTunes folder from external HD directly into 'Music' folder (no iTunes folder existed yet as I had not yet used iTunes on the new iMac).

Pretty straightforward, but when I open iTunes, on the new iMac it shows 3,793 total songs, while on the Mac Pro, it shows 3,818.

I used home sharing to connect to the Mac Pro library from iMac library, and checked the box to only show items not on the iMac library - nothing shows up, despite the difference in total song count (I did this in reverse on the Mac Pro and it also showed no items that were on the iMac, not on Mac Pro).

So I'm kind of stumped, how can they have different song counts when I copied the entire folder (I confirmed the size of the copied over folder matches size of old folder) and when home sharing shows no difference in songs on each library?

Is there any way for me to easily identify what songs are on the Mac Pro that didn't transfer?
