Transferring .jpg's with Camera Connection Kit

Does anyone know why when I copy jpg's from my Mac hard drive to an SD card and then try to copy them to my iPad why won't they read? It just says there are no files on the SD card. But when I take pictures on the same SD card, the iPad recognizes the files.

Thoughts? Thanks

You should make sure the root directory on you SD card is DCIM, then copy the photos you want to transfer into that directory.
