I'm upgrading from a late 2014 Mac Mini running Mojave and iTunes to an M1 Mac Mini running Sequoia and Tunes but how do I transfer my music library. I've run into problems upgrading my current computer beyond Mojave so have been stuck with iTunes so the transfer is made more complicated.

Haven't provided any details on how your 2014 Mac mini Mojave iTunes library gets over to the M1 Mac mini running Sequoia, but that's ok. In Sequoia, hold down the Option key while launching the Music app. You will be prompted to select a Music library to open. Select your Mojave iTunes library.

Thanks for the reply. I will be moving files to the M1 from a Carbon Copy Cloner backup disk of the old computer via USBs. What file(s) do I need to select as being the Mojave iTunes Library?

Sorry, can I simply copy the iTunes Library.itl file from the backup disk and expect it will transfer all the music files with it? Please clarify. I'm not as computer literate as I would like to be. Thank you.
