How can I transfer songs from my mac home computer to my PC work computer using my mac formatted ipod?

Wouldn't it be easier if we all used macs?

Thanks!

Long story short: you can't.

The simplest way to do this is to:
1. Format your iPod for Windows (FAT32)
2. Plug it into your mac and turn on disk usage and set the iPod for manual updates
3. Copy all the music over to the iPod in disk mode (note: you won't be able to listen to it while it is stored in this manner)
4. Plug it into your PC, import all the songs into iTunes from your iPod drive
5. Erase everything off the iPod
6. Using iTunes move songs back over to the iPod in the normal fashion

Or, you could snag one of those iPod music ripper programs and use it to accomplish steps 2-6, but I've never had much luck with those. Either way you will need to format your iPod in FAT32 (Windows).
