This is the only thing holding me back from the change. When i export my bookmarks from firefox i can't import them into safari because of a difference in file type. is there another way to do this?

An app like BookDog will do it (and lots more). Or, maybe Foxmarks? Not sure about that one, though. I do know it can keep your bookmarks on the "cloud" and accessible from any computer.

I just tried it and it worked for me (although I am running firefox 3.5 rc3 so it may be different).

Firefox: Bookmarks - Organise Bookmarks

Then click on the Star icon which the refresh symbol in it - Export HTML.

Safari: File - Import Bookmarks.

thanks sky. BookDog is exactly what i needed. Now if i chicken out and go back i can just get them to sync with each other. great app
