transferring old apps to new ipad

I sold my old ipad a month ago. I backed it up, but I was just wondering if all my old apps will go on the new ipad, specifically those that I paid for. Or do I have to buy them all over again? Thanks for any help

Restoring from backup will get them back on your new iPad.

Or you can download them again from the App Store free of charge.
